Another puzzling entry on the ultimately prosecuted list, the film documents a bunch of hippies growing marijuana who are poisoned by a government crop dusting of an experimental herbicide, causing them to transform into cannibalistic mutants. A bunch of holidaymakers in the nearby woodlands encounter both the seemingly unstoppable ghouls and government agents who have come to finish the job they started. The Monte Video release in the UK was relatively innocuous and the violent content of the film is not particularly extreme, so it remains a mystery why this out of many other similar zombie films got netted in as an obscene article. Even more mystifying how it was successfully convicted.
