Frozen Scream | 1975 | USA | Frank Roach

Incredibly obscure and equally as strange, Frozen Scream is a rather dull effort from Frank Roach which while it has an interesting concept, is botched so badly you really wonder which sapling got offended by it. Ann is distraught after seeing her husband Tom murdered by strange robed figures. On the advice of her ex-boyfriend, she attempts to investigate the strange goings-on and is caught up in a dastardly plot to unleash cryogenically created zombies as proof that humans can live forever. With an overly convoluted story and rather basic looking zombies, the film was never really going to impress and I think even the DPP was stretching it trying to prosecute this one, with only a minor axe hacking and glass shard to the face keeping viewers from falling asleep.
