While this rather sleazy slasher movie was given a UK cinema certificate after some cuts, the VHS version from World of Video 2000 was the uncut version, leading to all manners of trouble. George Tatum is a troubled man, trapped in endless mental anguish after a childhood trauma. Released from an institution on an experimental medication, George begins to stalk and kill several women before centering on a family with a dark connection to him. While the BBFC's X version only had a few select moments of intense gore removed, the uncut version riled the DPP so much that one of the distributors, the rather controversial figure David Hamilton Grant, served jail time for releasing the film.
