A Canadian chiller centred around a hospital, Jean-Claude Lord’s serial slasher film features the talents of both Michael Ironside and William Shatner, and focuses on a misogynistic zealot who gets irritated by an outspoken feminist reporter. He brutally assaults her, causing her to become hospitalised and when he realises she survived his attack, he makes it his life mission to stalk her through the medical hallways, savaging anybody who gets in his way. This film was apparently netted when the uncut version was accidentally broadcast on ITV, leading the authorities to note that it did not have the BBFC cuts imposed at the cinema. The VHS version was then caught then when presumably someone, somewhere complained about said horrors.
